These grilled paneer and vegetable skewers are bursting with smoky, spiced flavors, thanks to Deanz Vegetarian Spice Blend. They make a perfect appetizer, side dish, or even a light meal!
Ingredients
- 200g paneer, cut into cubes
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 red onion, cut into wedges
- 1 zucchini, sliced into rounds
- 2 tbsp Greek yogurt (or dairy-free yogurt for a vegan option)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 ½ tsp Deanz Vegetarian Spice Blend
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp red chili powder (optional)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped cilantro (for garnish)
Directions
- Prepare the marinade – In a bowl, mix yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, Deanz Vegetarian Masala, salt, and chili powder.
- Marinate – Add paneer and veggies to the marinade, coating evenly. Let sit for 45 minutes (or up to 2 hours for deeper flavor).
- Assemble skewers – Thread marinated paneer, bell peppers, onions, and zucchini onto skewers.
- Grill or bake –
- Grill: Cook on a preheated grill for 5-7 minutes per side until lightly charred.
- Oven: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Garnish & serve – Sprinkle with fresh cilantro and serve with mint yogurt dip or chutney!
